Default 3/8 cordless snap on impact

just picked up a 3/8 cordless impact from snap on brand new for $240.00
I seen many people with these that I cant believe they still work so I hope to get a lot of use!!!

I see guys at junkyards all the time using those impacts. Almost makes me want to go out and get one.

the impacts are hard on the bolts i just use the drill of this set its got enough power to turn most fasteners i have tried. they are light and the batteries last so long i forget where i left the charger sometimes, and i use it daily

I hope your not talking about that Makita. They are only rated at 200 IN lbs, not FT lbs.

Lol no the makita is rated at like 78 ft lbs vs snap on at 230 ft lbs

We have two guys here that had that setup and went with the lithium ion batteries instead. Problem is the regular batteries crap out after a year. Luckly I have a battery repair down town can repair a battery for thirty dollars. I hope It works out well for ya.

I could use that Snap On Impact! (with new batteries)
Mine is kinda weak LOL..half the time my battery dies before I can even remove the lugs on 3 wheels LOL!..(sad)

lithium ion. they dont care about the cold like LA batteries either. i have the 18v makita drills and 1/2in impact set in my work truck and those batteries are out in the cold and work fine for quite a while even if they were charged a couple months ago

i think I will look into the lithium ion batteries just for extra considering I get 50% direct from snap on.thanks guys
