Description
CRUISE CONTROL INHIBIT CIRCUIT

Quad Driver Modules (QDM) are used by PCM to turn on currentdriven
devices needed to control various engine and transaxle
functions. Each ODM can control up to 7 outputs, including cruise
inhibit driver circuit, by supplying ground to device PCM is
commanding on. ODMs can diagnose each circuit individually. If ODM
detects an improper voltage level in output circuit controlling the
stepper motor cruise control inhibit circuit, DTC will set.

Symptoms
You likely won't notice any drivability problems.

Causes

  • An improper voltage level has been detected on output circuit
    controlling cruise control inhibit circuit.

Solutions
  • Check SMCC module ignition feed fuse. (Servo Motor Cruise Control)
  • Check for shorts or bad connections on SMCC
  • Replace SMCC module.
