Default '92-'93 OBD1 Key Remote Program*

1. Locate the ALDL connector on the drivers side, under the dash. It should look like the pic below.





2. Grounding Pin G (bottom left) tells the system you are getting ready to reprogram a key fob. Pin A (top right) of the connector is a ground, so using a paper clip as a jumper between pins G and A will accomplish this. Once pin G is grounded the power locks will lock/unlock telling you the system is ready to be programmed.




2. If programing one key fob - press any key 3 times. If you have two key fobs, both must be programmed at the same time. Press any button on key fob 1, then press any button on key fob 2 within 1 minute of pressing a button on key fob 1. If the key fob was programmed correctly the power locks will lock/unlock.

3. Remove the paper clip from the ALDL connector and test the key fob(*).
