Default Fuel tank pressure sensor

Hello, I’m new to the group here and recently got myself a 1998 GMC K2500 Suburban. I tried searching this but didn’t really see much or wasn’t looking in right place but when I got it the fuel tank was removed with new fuel pump installed. While trying to see what I need to install back up there I noticed I only see a wire harness for the fuel pump. I do not see the 3pin wire harness for the fuel tank pressure sensor. Where might I find this wire? Does it wire into the fuel pump wire harness?

any help would greatly be appreciated.

thank you!

I would look everywhere under there for it. I can't imagine someone would rip out all the wiring for that.

Feel like I’ve looked everywhere down there. Unless it somehow was wired in with fuel pump. Only one wire loom heading to fuel tank area and only has 4 wires for fuel pump. Think it will run with out that sensor connect but might get engine light pop up.

Did you check the wiring diagrams? Don't know what engine we are working with or what fuel system. Here'* the single tank for the 5.7L

It’* a 5.7l with single tank. yes saw this diagram. Shows the sensor, not real good a deciphering these but I see the one black wire for 5v sensor return. It’* not showing other two wire from that sensor?

Is your Suburban a California emissions car or a Federal emissions car?

THIS is why I'm asking:

. . . but guessing won't help us. Look at the emissions decal under the hood, and/or post a picture of it, and we can figure it out.
