Default Banjo bolt that goes into caliper

Replaced caliper on my 2006 gmc envoy went to put bolt back into caliper and it still leaks changed washer and bolt what am I missing does it need to be torqued down ?? Help needed please

I believe it needs to be torqued to 30lbft on front calipers and 40lbft in the rear. You should double-check my numbers before tightening as I just found these numbers in three different places that were all NOT the service manual.

Did you check that the mounting surface on the caliper and the face of the bolt are both perfectly flat and smooth and clean?

What manufacturer is the new caliper?

Did you use two NEW washers?
