Default Running boards

We’re looking at installing running boards on my 2022 Terrain and can’t find any information on how to do it. I believe we have to remove the lower door moulding but can’t find any info on that either. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Tia.

What running boards are you attempting to install?

Did they come with instructions?

We can see how the brackets go on but we have to remove the lower mouldings and can’t figure out how to remove those.

Looking at the part, it looks like this video is roughly correct:

This is on the previous generation, but the molding part itself looks like it is attached about the same way. Do you have a good set of body panel removal tools?

The moulding we removed was on the body of the car, not on the door, but it was 2 screws on front and back, then just clips that needed to be gently pulled off with the moulding. Once we figured it out it went quite well.
