Just bought a 2000 Grand Am SE that needs a power steering pump

We have looking into the part with the VIN but it keeps coming back for N40 and NV7 codes variable and non variable.

Look through your option codes and see which one you have, either N40 or NV7 . The codes should be in the spare tire cover in the trunk under the carpet or nearby . . . or might be on the glove box door.
