Default Air vents

When I have my temp on cold and run the vent fan, the air that comes from vents is warmer than outside temp . Why is this happening ?

Usually this is because the air picks up a little bit of heat from the intake area between the hood and windshield (right behind the engine and in the sun). Notice that the same air is a degree or two cooler when moving at highway speeds versus when stopped.
