Odd smell coming from ac after running for a while. Thought it was just the area we were in. Smell kind of funky, like a fart, or a homeless person.

I haven't gone out of my way to smell any homeless people, but I'll go with "there'* an undesirable smell that starts when the air conditioning has been running for a while."

What happens when you change to/from recirc?

Check the cabin filter and see what'* dead in there.
