USB Module source

USB Module source
Hello all, I am hoping someone has dealt with this issue and found a solution. I have a 2021 GMC Terrain SLT. My Apple Carplay has worked flawlessly and then suddenly without issues or warning the USB module below the gear selector stoped working. Not only does the Carplay or Android not work, but the usb ports do not charge or recognize anything plugged into them. I have checked fuses, pulled the battery terminal to do a reset, even ordered a replacement usb module, still no joy.
Does the main screen(infotainment) provide power to the usb module?

If you're talking about the USB module down just above the little bin and forward of the cupholders, I haven't heard of any issues with these.
I believe power is provided by the infotainment unit.
To be sure, trace the wire from the USB module to wherever it goes and report back, then we'll all know for sure.
Regarding fuses, did you pull each one and test with a meter?
I believe there'* another USB port in the bin under the front row center arm rest. Does that one work?

Thank you for responding, if I recall there are two fuses one for the USB and one for the radio I checked both with a continuity tone from my voltmeter. The other USB are working there'* one for the passenger behind my arm rest and there'* one in my center console AKA underneath my arms and those work and charge. I was hoping to avoid pulling the dash for a fact-finding mission until I was actually replacing a part. But if need be I can and will.

Maybe someone will chime in with more information. I haven't seen this issue before. If it were me, a fact finding mission would be in order . . . pulling the dash apart to see what feeds that particular USB port.
