Hi, I managed to swap my steering column , 2001 Tahoe 5.3 lt. vortec ---swapped with 2003 tahoe z71 5.3 vortec.. steering column went fine , my problem is the wiring. the connectors are differant, when I pulled the column out of the 2003 all the wires were cut from the vehicle but attached to the column with the connectors, which are differant in my 2001, so when I noticed that the connectors are not the same as too just plug into where you normally just plug back into the slots where you pull from when you swap any car parts , I figurred I would cut the harnesses ( ignition Module) ETC. now after looking at the cluster F... I have many loose wires realizing some dont match up with the wires from my 2001, or I have some that i dont know where they go, the good thing here is the steering column has all the wires in there place, the problem is connecting them to my original wiring harness, Im asking for help with connecting them to the right wires beccause the differant size gauges are a;larming...Please let me know if I described my problem enough to understand, maybe a colored code for each steering column.. HELPPPPP

Need the wiring diagrams for both and we can do this with a couple splices.
