This weekend I noticed that the cruise control and lane keep did not work. CC turns on and off but the speed will not "set", the lane keep button when pressed says unavailable. The forward collision button doesn't switch settings when pressed, but when the vehicle is on but engine off the FCA will change setting. I would think these features are tied to the windshield camera/sensor. Is it possible to calibrate myself? My ODB2 reader stops at 2020 (just found that out when trying to plug in). We bought this vehicle used and didn't test the cruise control before buying and the snow and ice obscure the lane keep at times. Has anyone calibrated or have any insight on these features are tied to the windshield camera.

Your reader should work on it. Need to probably get a scan tool rather than just a code reader. Warranty no good for 2nd owner?

I have the microscan from bluepoint and auto ingenuity program, both never connect. we bought it "used as is". it will be a few weeks till I can try trouble shoot. I was just wondering if anyone has calibrated the sensor themself. I skimmed over a video that google popped up but plan to do some more digging when I get room in garage to work on it.

You likely need a good scan tool.

C0161-67 ABS brake switch circuit
U0415-71 invalid data received from ABS system control module
C0277-06 Brake pedal position sensor circuit - low voltage/open
C0277-4B Brake pedal position sensor circuit-calibration not learned.

as for the windshield being cleaned, its been washed, no obstructions. After seeing all these ABS codes maybe not the ADAS that I was thinking. I did a brake pedal position calibration after clearing codes and re-scanned vehicle with out driving It these codes where still there;

Is that just a code reader or does it show live data? Looks like we have a possible network issue. I would do the grounds first off.

Just an update, I had a recall on the vehicle last month and while its was there had the dealer check out the codes. Brake switch was faulty, replaced and calibrated all features works as designed now. It just amazes me that a brake switch needs to be calibrated. All those features are tied to the brakes I understand that part, but calibration of a switch is new. Thanks for everyones input.

The brake pedal on your car doesn't have a switch like we think of on older cars, it has a sensor that measures pedal position more than [up/not up]:



. . . so it does have to be calibrated.

It'* similar to a Throttle position sensor on vehicles that require an idle relearn procedure.
It'* not a switch as CathedralCub shows.
