05 bonneville gxp drivers window doesn’t work
I just purchased a 06 gxp for my son and the drivers window will not go up or down. All other windows work great from the drivers door panel.
I removed the door panel hoping to find a bad motor…..but found the regulator and motor was removed and the window was jammed closed. I have since installed a new regulator and motor and freed up the window for install.
After I was done with the install, still the same…using the driver switches, the drivers window is in op and all three others work fine. I jumped the motor to roll up the window and continued to troubleshoot. At the motor. With the switch pushed, I am showing 0 volts up or down. And zero volts out of the module to the motor. I can, however, hear and feel the door module click when the switch is used.
I have good voltage going into the switch, but don’t get any change on the control wire out of the switch with ANY of the windows operating.
do you have any advice on how to shoot this switch?
I would rather not spend $100 on a switch assembly and then another $300 on a door module)

If it were me, I'd get a replacement switch before they disappear from the market. See if that fixes it, and if not, keep it for when it goes out anyways and troubleshoot other things.
