Who'* gotta work tomorrow? It'* my normal scheduled work day, but we were told today, we are on mandatory standby. 10 other people have to actually go in tomorrow.

Either way, I still get 8 hours of holiday pay at double time even if I don't go in. Today, I got 10 hours of holiday pay because I went in today.

slow time at work, most everyone takes leave this time of year. im off last thursday to jan 6

i dont. but i got paid double time and a half for working today. store is closed tomorrow. unlike most other jobs, the goodwill drive thru is absolutely crazy this time of year. we got over 320 cars today. everybody has to get their tax sheet......

Normally I would be working for the extra $$
HOWEVER...the good news is I have this week off with a rare prime time scheduled owed week Holiday!

From the looks of it, that whiskey/nog looks pretty expensive. And I'm sure you must drink it pretty quick otherwise it goes bad quick after being opened?

That'* what I liked about Ft Drum. If a holiday fell near a weekend, it automatically made that weekend a 4 day weekend.
