Default 2001 SLE BAD battery drain

I have a 2001 SLE and one morning with no warning dead battery. charged it checked battery, load tested, it was fine. Car was fine for about 2 weeks, then dead battery. Charged it again, load tested the battery, it was fine and checked the alt for diode problem none. You can charge battery drive car, shut it off and the battery will be drained in less than 3 hours... I opened the truck to check radio amp. It smelled in truck like hot/burnt wiring. The amp was cool to touch, but the unit mounted next to it that says Delphi on it was as hot as a firecracker...There is no truck leaks as talked about on here, but I did notice that once you start the car when it is stone cold the cooling fans come on even when air is shut off....Any help PLEASE!!!!!

The only other unit I remember being on the back of the seat in the trunk is the on star module, although a picture would help me confirm this. If it is in fact the on star module, you should be able to leave it unplugged and see if that solves your problem.
