1988 Blazer k-5 Brake Question
I have a 1988 Blazer K-5, I have a front and rear brake line leaking. The nuts that hold the brake line into the proportioning valve are rusted in. So here is my idea to get brakes again:
I want to run lines directly from the master cylinder to each side of the front and have no rear lines(dont need them, its a plow truck for my drive way only and isn't even registered). The question i have is, the line that comes out of the master for the back is 1/4 inch. I just want to run both 3/16ths, would i be able to just use a 3/16ths directly out of it or would i need to have some kind of adapter.
Thanks in advance for your help!

normally you can get those loose with wd or pb blast over night, cut the line at the fitting and use a good short 6pt socket. or big vise grips, or

I've been know to weld a cheap extra socket on once in awhile.

If i was going to drive this on the street, i would put a little more effort into it and do it the right way, but since this wont go above 10 mph im not too worried about it, right now im using it without brakes which is a pain
