04 2.2 cav cant get clip on slave cylinder

04 2.2 cav cant get clip on slave cylinder
hi i had to get a replacement clip i have the old line pushed in where u see the reses i put oil on it too i put the clip in but i cant push it down by hand i even tap lightly with a hammer or used vise grips to push on but cant why what special trick you need to do?

sorry cuz i have in the other topics its about the manual transmission
i can not get the slave cylinders clip to push onto the line that goes into the transmission
i hold it in and try to push it on cuz i have the slit lined up oiled it too nothing works here is pic
vise crips to push on doesnt work
u cant put the clip in first and then push line on doesnt work u gotta push line in and then try to get the clip on

here is pic of clip
and the book hayes book doesnt even talk about anything like this they talk about a push pull system like a air fitting book is totally useless for that and a manual transmission no pictures of anything

First, because your not lined up right, the clip goes on either side of the fitting, not in to the same slot.
Second, please keep posts that are about the same topic in the same thread. Otherwise we have no idea what your talking about.

ok ill remember for next time
and as for fittin the clip has to go inside the slave cylinder and around the line and i have it lined up i push all the way in the line and try to push the clip inside as the 2 ends are supposed to come outside of the slave cylinder on the sides but i cant get it to go

so i bled it a bunch of times and its still soft not as stif as before feels like no pressure at all but works i guess i dunno as the car doesnt start and there is no codes what would have caused that ? what sensor might not be hooked up from me dropping tranny?
