disabling auto lights?
On a 2002 Chevy Blazer, is there an easy way to disable these?
I know I can hit the dome override button, but that gets annoying.

When you unplug the sensor, it defaults to auto-on.
I can't remember which way the sensor has to be for the lights to be on, open or closed circuit, but if you figure that out, then you can make sensor that way and BOOM, no more auto lights.

You need to insert a resistor to disable the autolights. I forgot what the value needs to be, but it has been done.

I believe the photocell is in the passenger side dash speaker grill. I think its only 2 screws that hold the grill. Once the grill is removed, disconnect the connector and insert a resistor into the 2 electrical connectors. The resistor can be found at radio shack for about a $1 or so. I'll research what one you need.....

It'll be great if you figure it out for me.
