Can't get the rear doors on the Astro van open. When you hit the remote you hear the doors "unlocking" Ideas??

Are they the dutch doors or full vertical doors?
Can you unlock with the key?

Sounds like the solenoid might be working, but linkage to the lock might be busted. Or its getting caught up somewhere. Possible the solenoid popper is just getting weak.

....any ideas of how to get the doors open so it can be worked on. I can't even get the doors open, and without that, I can't do anything.

....Hey, I just discovered that the switches on the door to lock/unlock do not work either. Guess that'* related.....the remote lock/unlock work...but the switchs on the door do not....any of them.

if its like my yukon barn doors you probably have to go in through the side door and take the covers off to see if anything is going on with the latches, i would guess they are probably seized and need to be freed up with some wd 40
