Unhappy 2002 Envoy problem with rear self leveling

We recently used our Envoy to pull a trailer during our recent move. It did a great job! Only problem is that after removing the trailer, the rear of vehicle has remained jacked up. There'* about 8" or more space above the rear tires. It causes a really rough ride. How can we get the vehicle to level itself? Is there something broken, or just something we neglected to do?

im going off what i know about my bonnie, but i would try going to the inflater valve if you have one and push the center thing in without turning on the compressor switch that should take the air out. once you get it lowered down there are little rods connected to a sensor on one of the rear wheels, i would inspect for any troubles there.

I just checked the inflator area. There is a toggle switch only. On the top it says Inflator, on bottom Push On/Off. You can't push the inflator end without first pushing the On/Off. When I did that the compressor turned on. Thanks for the suggestion but I couldn't get that to work.
