Default 02 camaro v6 slow shifting

the problem I'm having is that it will rev to 2.5-3k rpm before shifting. this will happen even if Im barely giving it any gas. happens in all gears. I drove it around town for a couple days until I had time to do an oil and filter change. New filter, oil, and added a bottle of lucas tranny fluid. Still shifted the same, and now I have a p0756. 2-3 shift solenoid performance.

Does anyone know which one it is in the pan? cant find a diagram or anything. also everywhere I see online people talking about ofrice #29 and check it for debris, but also dont know where that is?

Thanks

Sounds like your 2-3 shift solenoid is out. Do you know off hand which transmission you have in your car? Chances are you will need to lower or drop the transmission to remove the side pan to gain access to the solenoids.

stock 4l60e?

there are two identical solenoid at the back of the valve body with the pan removed. The "B" (2-3) solenoid is the closest to the passenger side,"A" (1-2) is closest the driver side.

Here is a picture of a valve body with a vac mod set up.

The one in the bottom left of the picture is the 2-3(B) solenoid the one directly next to it is the 1-2(A) solenoid. Just be careful when you pull the clip off them and take them out, one has a spring loaded valve with a check ball in it.
