i think the inlet should be ontop, right???

This is what happens...lol
The muffler is for an F body and you have an H body. Most guys angle the muffler to get the pipe to the inlet. Top or bottom is based upon how it fits best and the piping looks best.

damn... so now i have to pay for extra piping to fit it into the inlet?
this muffler was on the recomended upgrade list!

Dunno who wrote that up, I would never recommend making a luxury car louder. I'm more about the sleeper effect. Quiet, fast and surprising.

If you looking at the muffler as a square. The bottom left is your inlet and your two top holes are your outlets. so if you are looking down at your car from the rear you hook it up as so.
