Eaton Boost controller --- Easy Performance
Has anyone tried the boost controller? I read easy performance website and its not clear but I think it just limits the maximum psi like a relief valve used on turbo boost controllers. Although, I'm not sure how it reads the manifold pressure.
Anyone try one of these?

The vacuum operated bypass valve is controlled by a computer controlled solenoid valve. The Easy Performance Controller plugs in between the computer and the solenoid valve.

It sounds like it just dials back the boost on the car, and does nothing for more boost. The max boost is still based off of your mods. As far as reading manifold pressure, it gets it reading from the voltage going through the bypass electronics.
If you don't have multiple people driving your car, and have a proper tune in your car, I can't see how it is extremely beneficial, just my opinion.

I was thinking you could run a smaller pulley and limit the maximum boost at higher RPM'*. A smaller pulleys at lower RPM'* doesn't create knock, you don't see knock until 5000 RPM. The engine could create more power up to 5000 RPM'* but would waste a little power when it limits the boost pressure above 5000 RPM'*. I believe that is what the turbo people are doing.
