Default Back Seat Removal

I know that this is trivial, but I cannot get the back seat out of my 01 Bonneville. Doe anyone know the procedure for getting it out? Thanks for the help!

If your talking about the actual backing, good luck! It was such a pain in the @$$ to get out, that I never bothered to put it back in. I've been driving around for a few months without it until I'm completely done back there. There are 4 clips I believe that hold it in, I'll put a picture up once I get back home.

I just want to remove the bottom of the seat to get at the battery to make sure that the terminals are in good shape.

Then like crunkfunk said, just lift up from the front of the seat. You will laugh when you see how easy it is.

The beautiful part about it being under the rear seat is how clean you'll find it to be. The unbeautiful part is how spendy that vented battery is.

x2 on that one, I wanted a yellow top for mine but just a Duralast was really expensive for that setup

Just push in and push up, at the same time, towards the front/center of the seat. I believe that will do it.
