Sounds like a flaky WSS. Check the plugs on the sensors and make sure they are clean. See if that helps.

I have the same problem on my Bonnie. I got stuck in the snow this winter and did not turn off my traction control. MISTAKE!!! I now have the lights for the ABS and TC and now my BRAKE light all come on. I read somewhere that my car may just shut down. Help I want to fix on a low budget. What do I need to do?

It'* worth the 85 bucks to take it to the dealership and have it scanned. I was trying to pull my SSS codes with a small handheld scanner and was worthless. I even swapped out the WSS'* just to see if it would fix the problem before I have it scanned. They were fine, it was the Steering Position Sensor. Seems to be a very common failure. Good luck with yours.
