Default Bonny update

Hey everyone, it'* been a while since i posted some pics of the ride, so here it is.p.* the front windows were also tinted but two tickets later i decided to peel it off...bloody fascists! In the last year, other than cosmetics i've rebuilt the drive train, installed a 2.5" pulley on the SC, CAI and other odds and ends from a new fuel pump to new power window motors. She'* going in for a much needed suspension update in the next few weeks. Come spring it will be getting a fresh coat of paint, just not sure what colour yet...i'll have a poll nearer the time! Anyhow just wanted to say thanks again to all those people who've helped me out on here, it'* a great place to visit and i can't thank you enough for all the input... a penny saved is a penny earned! cheers!

Not too shabby. I like the wheels a lot.

Looking real good. What kind of performance increase do you think you got with the pulley and the CAI? Did you build a CAI or buy one? Can we see some pics? Do you scan for KR, and if so, did you have any issues?

Those wheels look killer on that color. If I can offer my two cents, it would be to repaint the same color. It'* an awesome combo. What kind of KR are you getting?

The CAI is a home made job but it does the trick quite well. I haven't built a box for it yet though so i have placed a 4" hose under the fog lights and have it routed up to where the filter is for increased cool air flow. The power is quite significant from low to mid range, to comment on an increase would be speculation on my part. I'm sure one can make an educated guess as i believe the boost is now at around 10psi and probably a 3-5% gain with the CAI?? I haven't scanned for KR but a scan tool is in the works, no known or noticeable issues as of yet anyway. i do notice poorer performance if i don't use at least 92 octane gas. I should also add that the SC is actually a gen 2 from a 93 with smaller throttle body. I tried the TB of the gen 3 but the car wasn't having it so until i rebuild the original gen 3 the gen 2 is doing just fine. I had to relocate the IAT sensor because it was sending a check engine code when it was mounted in the CAI. Now it"* hanging in a retired, perforated bottle of Motrin next to the air filter! The other 'feature' i really enjoy since adding the CAI is the whine of the supercharger...sounds sooo nice!

I was thinking that too, perhaps just a little richer tone so it doesn't look too sandy like, 2 cents always appreciated.

Is that silver tube dryer vent tubing? Where did you get the 2 black rubber elbows? Looks good, but you are right, you need the box around it. Need to block it off from the hot air in the engine bay.
