i never use the vents. just popped then out and took them apart. had to drimel a little to make them fit but not to bad.

What brand are those gauges? If I am correct you have a fuel and boost gauage

be sure you fuse those good, glowshift guages are know to blow out from electrical surges fairly easy
very nice look to them, wish i had the same vents ha
