Default Squeaky Noise

I have a 93 sse and it sounds like some belt is squeaking and it starts low, but as i accelerate it speeds up until the transmission shifts up and then it starts all over again.
Any help? Recommendations?

Check and replace the belt as needed.

Sorry, I'm not trying to be a wiseguy, when you post that you think you have a squeaky belt and are looking for help, that'* about the best offering we can do through a computer.

well its just that I dont know which belt it is. And i'm not sure if it IS in fact a belt, it just sounds like it would be, so i was hoping someone had been thru the same thing and could tell me what it really is.

could be the belt tensioner (drive belt), try taking the belt off and spinning the wheel and hear for any noise

One quick way to check is to spray a very small amount of belt dressing on the inside of the suspected belt while the engine is running. If the squeak goes away that is the culprit. This is only for testing purposes. Belt dressing is not the way to "fix" a squeaking belt. Still, it could be the belt tensioner or the belt but you should always work from the simplest (cheapest) solution. Inspect all of your belts for cracks. It is just as easy to change them all as one and they will all have the same mileage on them down the road.
