Default My First Bonneville

I got my first Bonneville today. It is a 1997 and it is pretty loaded up with the options. Also it is badged with a 40 years of Bonneville emblem I do not know if this makes it special or not. I picked her up from a local dealer that took it in on trade and because of the high miles 200,000 plus sold it for 1300. I do not see anything wrong with it other than a belt issue that I have posted already here are some pics let me know what you think and if the 40th anniversary thing is anything special.

Being a 40th makes it a bit more rare, shame it'* not a SSEi. But for the price you paid you got a real good car.

Lol... agree on the shame for no ssei badge as well... but the 40ths are hard to find... with the high miles... you should opt for a new motor and drop in an SC SII for more ponies hehe

I looked at a few Bonneville'* over the last year or so all 96-99s and out of all them this is the one that had everything I wanted. I wanted all the options more luxury was my goal. The only thing about this one is the miles but it runs fairly strong for 238000 miles.

Welcome to the Forum. 40th edition is kinda special, but the number of them made will keep 'rare' waiting for many to die and get crushed. Something to hold on to. If she'* still purring, just keep the oil and antifreeze fresh, and it should go many more.
