what is the torque spec for the center front whel hub nut ?
Is there a torque spec for the bearing hub center nut ? I know when they put my tranny back in they just socked it down with an impact, I wonde if it is too tight and may be causing some of my vibration problems ??
Please take the time to get familiar with TECHINFO.

yea I saw the 108 is that foot pounds ? If so and they socked it with an impact it is probably more than 108 right ?
Would it pay me to take the center hub cap off and loosen and retorque to 108 ft pounds ? Should I do it with the wheel off the ground, probably on h ground right ??
Thanks Wren

well I checked the torque and it was way over 108 ft pounds so... I reset it at 108 hoping this may be a reason for the vibration, no such luck.
It still seems like it started when the tranny was removed but we rechecked everyhting and its all tight. If you bump it to netural while it is doing it it still does it. It comes on about 60 mph right up thru 75 mph.
I am getting ready to give up on it but this is such a nice car and a joy otherwise I hate to.
Someone somewhere has to have a fix...
