What type of tire do you want? Summer or all season?

Also need a budget number for out the door and on the car. Do not forget alignment.

X2 on the alignment. That is probably where the uneven wear and pull is coming form right now

I am not so sure about the lower profile tire though on the stock rim. It probably wouldn't fill out the wheel well very good.

well iv had it aligned several times. the uneven wear came from teh stupid dealer never balencing the tires and then i drove it up north.

and i thought i mentioned in my first post that i was looking for year round/ all season

and the RS-A'* are pretty low pro compared to the Assurance that is.

yea im not looking for those tires that have a 1" wall

I think you opiontions are limited with the stock GXP size (that what I seam to remember from when I was looking for mine)

Im my opinion, even though it cost more, you should have a dedicated summer set and a winter set on steelies..

If you did, Id recommed the Hankook K104'*.for summer (the are friggin' awesome)
you should be able to drop to a 16"-17" steelie in the winter and get a good winter tire again, my recommonation would be Michelin X-ice. (100% best winter tire out there)

Just my opinion, I know its not exactly what your after

I have GXP wheels on my 02 SSEi and recently went with BFG g-Force T/A KDWS
g-Force ultra high performance year round tires and have been very happy with them and the cost is reasonable, as I recall less than a $100.00 per tire from Discount Tire Direct.

Why would you put a donut on a drive tire?
