Can someone tell me a step by step way to change my air filter on my 2001 Bonneville SE? I open the clips on top, but I cannot get the housing open wide enough to get the new filter in there. Is it suppose to come apart at the bottom also? Do I need to undo the large flex hose connected to it first? It seems ther is a step or two I am missing.

yes you need to remove the rubber coupler at the Throttle body. With that out of the way it will give you more access to remove the back panel of the airbox, so that the filter can be removed

Describe the "rubber coupler at the thottle body". Is the the flex hose looking thing about 4 inches in diameter, Do I undo it on both ends?
