easy fix you just have to take off the throtle body to remove it unless you want to struggle with it for hours just get the part from NAPA or any other parts store then autozone

I pulled this code and had miscellaneous performance issues when I first bought my Bonne. I went to auto zone and picked up the 60 dollar sensor and replaced it myself in about 15 minutes. There should be two screws that mount the TPS and the simple plug in wire harness that need to be removed. As I recall I used a very short handled screwdriver to get at them.

As with everything you need to watch the way that it comes off so that you put it back on in the correct position because some TPS are adjustable. You shoud be able to see where the screws were on the old TPS and should reinstall it in the same position if it is adjustable. Should be an easy fix, good luck!

There were no adjustable TPS'* after 1992. If you had one, Autozone sold you the wrong one (big surprise there).

You need an offset or 90 degree phillips to change it, it can be tricky.
