Default Water pump replacement

Well, I'm changing the water pump and #9 pulley on my 96 SSEi today. Never done it before, but I have instructions. Just wanted to know if anyone had any tips for me, anything is appreciated!

brace the motor, have air tools, access the hidden mount bolts through the ps pulley. Hope you have a warm place to do it.

I replaced the water pump on my 94, and I gotta say it was the most pain the rear replacement I have ever done. I used to have a list of all the tools I used cause I never had the ones it needed, so sorry bout that. I know our engines are different, but make sure you have a good selection of sockets. I mainly used a 13 and 15 mm. I had a standard in there somewhere to, but I could of been a nasty metric. My car has around 250k on it, so I know I ain't the only monkey to swing in there.
I had to remove the alternator, powering steering pump, 2 tension pulleys, seriously, like everything on the front side.
Anyways, have fun and I feel for ya. I spent 3 weeks doing mine cause I didn't wanna smash the car to bits.

I'm guessing, I change 2 water pumps on two separete 3300s' and they weren't bad.

The worst thing I have ever replaced, it'* kinda in a tie with the 3800 SC Water Pump, is the timing chain on a 77 olds. I had an 1/8 gap between the water lines to put a hose on, and plus, picking all the nylon chunks from the old gear in the oil pan was fun too.

remember to remove the 4 bolts from the pulley, before you remove the belt.
