1337ssei, another friend (turbo Beetle) and I hung out recently. I changed the oil in the Sable, which smelled of gasoline. In fact, it smelled so much like gasoline that I didn't even notice if I had "that weird oil smell" from changing the oil. I just smelled like a gas station. That'* hopefully over with for right now, or at least the next couple hundred miles until that oil change. Steps are being taken to rule this out, but I just had to rant about how rich that Sable had been running. I think it'* a lot better now, actually.
When you first walk into 1337ssei'* garage and look straight ahead, you see his old M90.

To the left is his old LIM.

There, I changed the oil in the Sable.

It was $12.99 to get 5qt of oil and a Fram oil filter. Next time, if it'* still running rich, I'll just get the cheapest oil filter because I found 5qt of 5W-30 just lying around. Jackpot!

Please don't use Fram! This is just good when you're changing the oil every couple hundred miles when your non-Bonneville is running rich.
