Is it worth while to upgrade the transaxle with this? INTENSE™ Street/Strip Performance Shift Pak® Will there be much of a performance increase? anyone else add this? What'* your opinions?

My opinion is yes do it because mine will arrive tomorrow. 
Seriously though I have no personal experience, but the benefits are worth it in writing. Prolongs your trans, decreases shift times, helps the PCM not retard timing as much.
Sounds sexy to me.

Besides the 180* thermostat, the Thrasher Shift Kit was my first mod. I am EXTREMELY happy that I did!
