Well today I was finally registered as an industrial electrician apprentice. In order for me to accomplish this, I had to not only find a company that would hire me without any formal on the job training, but then sign for me as a sponsor. I got really lucky as they usually wait till they hire you full time. I am on contract for 5-6 months ( the way this company hires), and it would be November or December before that happens.

I have been trying for years to get in somewhere so I could work in electrical. Boy how things can change, hehe.

It will take a while before I can make the "real money". Right now I am making just over 17$ an hour. BUT if I can get up to the next level at work, it'* a 3$ an hour raise. I have to be there for at least a year as an employee. So that means a bit more than a year from now unless other opportunities arise.
