I started looking around today for a K&N air filter for "Christine" today. After reading everything that I could find in here about the subject, and looking at my basic filter housing with fresh air tube out behind the headlight, I feel that there is no need for a custom set up. It'* not like I hot rod around or anything, but an easier breathing filter would be nice.
Anyhow, I digress. After searching every place I could think of within 40 miles, the best deal I could find was $65.00 for a drop in replacement.
I'm now thinking that I'll wait until the next time I head south of the border to do my shopping.

You should have asked first. www.ajusa.com usually has the best prices although I have no idea what it would be to ship to Canada

Not such a good deal I'm thinking. $51.50 plus they won't ship to Canada.
I'd need someplace that would ship via USPS. I will not use UPS for cross border shipments, they screw us royally with the brokerage fees.

No offence to Amsoil or their distributors, but I find their products over priced and the claims a bit far fetched. I'm not talking about Nate, but a distributor up this way who is so full of crap that it has put me off Amsoil products.
hey ive checked out filters too just like you and if you find a place that has them cheap you wil more than likely have to pay alot for shipping and have to wait a few days, so i think it would be just as good to get it from the place down the road. cost is about the same but you will have it that day.

I can get one to you in Canada.....
Amsoil has a distribution center in Edmonton.....So Canada shipping is easy.
Let me know if you have any questions on aquiring a filter or other products.
Thanks,
Nate
