Default lamp monitor

my lamp monitor keeps saying that i have a tail lamp out and when i got the car it said the same thing but i replaced the one that was out and it went away then a few days goes bye and i have anther tail lamp out so i replaced that one..now a week or so later it says it again so i check it out i dont have any lights out at all i even tried to unplug all them and and replug them in and even after disconnecting my battery the light is still on...so my question is what could it be if i have no tail lights out

There'* a bulb...trust us..there'* lots of bulbs on that thing. License plate bulbs are the most common ones to go that you'd never expect.

it says tail lamp...but i went out today and checked all my light again and tripled checked my plate lights, pulled them out check them and put them back. then after i gave up i started my car and it was gone.. i guess i had a loosed connection some where... thanks all for the input.(hopefully it doesnt come back)

heres something i found out already with my 95 SSEI.

I had a dim front parking light. it was still lighting and could "see" it but the bulb monitor said it was out. check every bulb. remember there are small 194 bulbs in the corner of the tails also

thanks for the info those corner tail lights were the first i check... but so far so good after wiggling some wires and bulbs it still off and hope it stays that way.

i hate that noise, i was out last night and it came back on for a quick second so i pulled over and check my lights and i had a flickering trunk light so i went got a new blub and put it in and looks a lot better and the DING DING is gone. thanks all for all the help at least next time it should be easier to find.
