Default Low Options on an SSE

A friend of mine just bought a 94 SSE w/ a blown engine (See 92-99 thread )

and i was looking it over to see what kind of options it had and i was supprised how little it had. It had cloth seats (not AL7'*), no sunroof, no ECC, no HUD, no traction control, no BOSE. The only thing it had more than my car (which is an SE) was the air compresser, the electronic dash stuff, and the body cladding.
Is that normal for an SSE to be that low optioned?

Not really. However they could have been ordered any which way from the factory.

My SSEi had ever single option and toy including CCR but not lit visor mirrors or a trunk bag. To date..I have never seen another Bonneville w/o lit mirrors.. but my RPO said not lit.

And my SSE has everything but block heater, traction control, and the heated windshield.

I found out that my SSEi has a VERY small RPO code list along with the 1SA options pack, which is supposed to be the stripped down, bare bones Bonneville. Yet it has the moonroof, leather, AL7 seats, HUD, basically every option, and it MIGHT have even came with the heated windshield also, but not sure on that one... it has the fuse in place for it ( which Don was amazed with ) but not sure if the wiring is there.

Needless to say, everyone at NEBF this year were pretty confused at to how my car had almost no options according to the RPO list, yet had almost every option on the car..... and not to mention, my parts car ( '93 SSEi ) is EXACLTY the same, RPO codes and all

My RPO list seems super short as well. Option packages, I guess.
