Is there anyone in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area that knows their way around a Bonneville engine?

I am all thumbs when it comes to my car. I have been known to make the simplist task twice as much work, time and money than a shop would charge..

I would gladly pay someone here rather than shell out shop costs
(I would also like to learn something)

I am venting, feeling sorry for myself.and envyous of all the gearheads here.. .

What exactly is it that you need done?

I still have an oil leak I don't want to deal with.. I think I'm in the denial stage right now.
I know what should be done to fix it, but I really don't want to tackle it. I would have to purchase torqe wrench, jack, jack stands...etc.

Rear seal? You don't wanna do it.

My suggestion is if it doesn't drip on the ground..then each time the oil change is done..just wipe the pan off.

yea, its dripping on the ground though. Five or 6 quarter size spots in the morning.
