i t looks to me that its probally never been changed since 1995.?
came off my my 95se.. looks pink grey blue and rusted......

that'* about how mine looked when i changed it in june. and there is NOOOO doubt that I was the first to touch it. i do have a 99, but we have similar mileage

There is no way to tell if it'* original or not by the way it was running. By the coloration..all we can tell is how it was running. To me it looked more whitish than anything else and that'* running reasonably good.

Since we know you are having MPG issues...go ahead and replace it in hopes that there'* something in the color that we can't see from the pic.

besides looking white it also looks pink and blue like it was burnt with a lighter or something...

looks like mine did. pretty normal if you ask me.
