IMO I think that the Rad Shack RC cars are junk for the most part. They are kinda over priced for the quality you get when you buy one. After all of my experiences with RC cars (Through my son) I would say gas powered FTW !!! Thos run quite expensive too though which is why I dont have one

If you look close at that pic you'll see it IS gas powered! Um actually guys it'* a REAL car not an RC!
