Yeah that'* a great price, and it has a lot of features. When I first saw the price I thought it would be stripped. Never heard of Woot but I like their prices

if you're going to buy a gps, buy a brand name. we sell a lot of gps' where I work and all of the returns are on non name brand units. stick with garmin, magellan or tom tom

I read the reviews of the one you posted from WOOT, and I'm impressed. No negative reviews, which is impressive considering that model was released last November. I'd go for it.

Follow-up on this one. I'm very impressed.

Accuracy and Performance are fantastic. Very easy to use. Re-route takes 3 taps on the screen, and it NAILS the route you're taking after you change your mind.

Map is VERY complete. This sucker actually has the School Bus turnaround loop in the parking lot at a local school I drive by every morning. Not to mention all the parking lot feeder-roads at HP. That'* impressive, being private property.

Day and night map mode reverses to a black background, or the display can dim in either mode. Choice of voices, and also two different route navigation modes. One with the map (in either 2D or 3D, as if you were flying an airplane looking forward and down), or voice with ROAD signs on the display. It adjusts when it warns you about an upcoming turn based on your speed. Elapsed and estimated times are right on the money. So accurate, they must be either assuming, or actually know the speed limits on the projected route. Katie and I have put this thing through the paces.

It actually charges while connect to USB, and uses the same connector/cable as my RAZR and Sony Camera. Very convenient. It charges off my phone car charger.

MP3 player is great. Nice big controls, and a good clean look on the display. Full-featured including track name. Lots of tunes on a 2gig SD card.

My only beef (and I haven't tested this yet) is that I don't think the MP3 player and Navigation modes can be on at the same time. It'* either one or the other. Not a big deal, except on long trips. I'll have to try and see if I can find a way to make it work.

The unit runs off a Windows CE core, so it SHOULD be able to multi-task.

The mount holds VERY well. Just a flip of the thumb, and it sticks to everything. Even Bo'* forehead.

The TomTom is also another nice one and it'* considered a "name brand" if your that type of person. If money is no problem go with the TomTom if not go for the Woot one. Besides they all give you the same directions
