school rant
GOD i hate my stats professor....
just got my grades from the school. 3.4 and 3.8 in my other classes... 0.0 in stats!!!! how on earth can i get a 0.0!!! i know i sucked REALLY bad on almost everything, but i was always close to average in the class... this is pissing me off right now... worst of it is he is the ONLY prof to teach that class and its required for my degree!!! so i'll have to retake it again!!! I'm going to have to talk to my advisor... i am not taking that at OU again if i can help it. I shoudl have known better then to even try. Frickin math department under review for the past 5 years at LEAST. now i see why. Friggin profs can't even speak the same language (not even CLOSE) as their students so how the heck are we suposed to learn anything!!!! ok, i'm gonna shutup here before i go off the deep end... just had to ven somewhere...

Did he say why?? Seems like flunking a course shouldn't come as a suprise.....

well i'll be honest and say i didn't expect to do well. BUT i also knew that the class as a whole was well into the D range if not E range as an average and he claimed he was going to curve the class so the class average was a 2.4 or a C. SO with that in my mind i knew that i wasn't going to do well but i though I'd get a LITTLE better then 0.0. Heck I wuoldn't be complaining if i got a 0.8 or something. All i needed to get credit for my degree is a 1.0 and i knew if i got that it would be close... this just comes as a suprise... He must not have curved like he said he was going to is all i can think.

Don't let this pass. Take it to the Dean if it comes to it. If a professor'* overall average is a D, that shows that the PROFESSOR isn't doing his job correctly and the students aren't learning, not the other way around. If his grades are that low, that'* HIS fault, not the fault of the STUDENTS. There is no excuse for an average that low. He should not be teaching.
