Hey i've been gone for a while but I recently saw these pics of the G8 GT coming soon and I almost **** myself. GM is finally getting back to what they used to be so good at...Making really awsome cars!!!!!!! I mean the the G6 GXP, G8 GT, the new Camaro, these cars are ridiculous, It makes me wanna finish up my last year of college and the day after I get my new job go to the dealership and get one of these beasts!!!! I'm sure you've all seen pics but for those of you who havent u might have to change ur pants once ur done seein them....

...Thank you GM for giving me something to look forward to instead of just another sedan that looks like it belongs to a rental car fleet...you have no idea how excited I am to see these new cars in dealerships

all i have to say id i hope that the G8 better have a HUD...they are gonna loose the hardcore Bonne and the GP Drivers if they dont....im not expecting the HUD tho
anyone know if there is a aftermarket SC kit for the 6.0.....i think whipple makes a kit
i would buy a G6 GXP if it had the 2.0 Ecotec LSJ Supercharged motor....the 2.0 modding has potential

See also the post in the lounge about how production has been halted on the G8 due to supreme court rulings regarding fuel efficiency.

That 6.0l in there doesn't look like anything I want to wok on at all. It looks great though.
I seen this version of the new Firebird, is it for real??

Yea, I like having it. I wish my truck had it too. Wife hates it
so I gotta turn it on everytime I drive the car

SC on an LS2? No no no. Turbo (or Twins)
And SIDI EcoTec > LSJ EcoTec
But it'* RWD architecture..

But it'* RWD architecture.. Pat, if you honestly think that HUD is the big selling point of these cars, you are sadly mistaken. The size and ride of the cars, not to mention the reliability, modability and power of the 3800 sold exponentially more cars than the gimmick that is HUD.
