So what performance mods are available for 2k+ cars
I have searched and found that most engine parts (SC pully, rockers, cams, ect.) that work on GP'* will work on ours. I also found that most headers will fit also with some tweaking. However what about suspension? What options do we have available as far as sway bar, springs, struts and so on. I don't want to do too much as it will be my daily driver, but firming things up and getting some more power of it would be kinda nice also. So far I love the car, my wife could not get me out of it playing around with all the gadgets and stuff. It handles great also but I am always looking for a little bit more, and it has some good power stock, but I want to hear the SC scream and pin me in my seat just a little harder. Also what options are the for exhaust, how well does it flow for stock? I know the W-body'* have a fairly restrictive stock exhaust but how well do ours flow, would I be good with just mufflers for sound? I thought I read the exhaust if fine until 13'* and I don't ever plan on it getting that fast, just a little quicker than it is now, prolly the equivelant to Intense'* stage 1.
One more thing, what about brakes? Are the stockers pretty good? Would a better rotor and pad change be good enough they seem to work good just like always though looking for a bit more.

Wow..thats a lot. I'd suggest checking out Techinfo under normal performance upgrades. Those are things we've found our cars to respond to the best.
As for exhaust..the most restrictive part of the exhaust is the front exhaust manifold and downpipe. Otherwise..it'* great and opening it up will only result in a loss of low end torque.
Think fenderwell intake, pulley and possibly headers. (No real modding to be done) and then a solid motor mount in the front.

I'd start off with a CAI with a amsoil Nano filter on it......Then swap the mufflers out for a lil free'er flowing muffler, and then swap out the */C pulley to a 3.4. That should be enough there to pucker your butthole

Cool Cool, thanks for the info. The more and more I look into it Intense seems to be the way to go, although I still have my differences with them you can't really argue with quality. I am sure the issues I heard about in the past are well behind them. I may end up just ordering a Stage 1 kit, put some Magnaflow mufflers on the stock pipes, and look more into the suspension, maybe just get stiffer shocks and try to find some poly bushings for the suspension. I just see so many different options for the W-Body guys and so few for us, but I guess that is the nature of the beast.

http://www.rogue-cavern.net/fwdquarter.html shows how few fast heavily modded Bonnevilles there are...

As far as stiffening up the suspension you can order a strut tower brace from your dealer that is meant for the GXP Bonneville. The part numbers are:
25768516, Bar, $54.93
10360987, RH Bracket, $11.88
25768515, LH, bracket $11.88
Alot of 00+ owners have installed one and it said to stiffen up the handling a bit.
