Default Battery Cable

This might be a little stupid question but I just want to make sure am right..... OKay my battery cable are corroded all the way through and I was wondering. I can use amp wire instaed of going to go buy a stock battery cable right? Thanks Nick

No. Battery cables are specifically designed for high-current flow with thick heat-resistant insulation.

Battery cables with the ends pre-crimped are readily available for a very reasonable price at all auto parts stores.
