You will have all the gears.

If you install that, you will have a tranny that shifts more crisply, more "on the mark" as far as WOT rpm shift point, with less lag and slip. And your clutches will last much longer.

You won't lose any gears. And your mileage may improve (if ever so slightly) because you spend less time slipping between gears.
