Upgraded my shifter today

look how rediculasly short the old boot is. it didnt even make it to the bottom of the original ****

had tpo cut the plastic on the new boot a little to make clearance

unfortunatly, unless theres a different shade of grey that the 00+***** came in, its looking like i might have to get some sort of Dye to make it match better :? (does look better in person though

you dont have a gray ****.. you have a dark tan ****, the exact same one that i have in my car stock...at least it looks that way from the flash pictures

you need a charcoal one

well i was told before i perchased it that it was grey...i thought it looked a little tan

ok then...

WANTED 1 GREY/CHARCOAL 00+ leather shift ****

The 2000+ **** has much better ergonomics.. good choice! I'd look for a black one too because you don't have anything that color in your car currently. Your car has the two-tone interior? Cool!

I pulled the **** from a SLE/SSEi with graphite interior. Now that I see that it is tan it makes sense.... the **** must have been replaced prior to me pulling it from the car as the boot wasn't even attached to the **** when I pulled the ****.
Sorry for not realizing it.... I was too busy keeping from getting more bloody to not notice the color diff.
